All news and views are social news and views.  Story gets disseminated as prom queen.  Idea gets disseminated as advertising subliminal or base, with nascent propaganda or sham fits of the use of blunt instruments.  Subjects get catered to as fits interest by the uninteresting uninterested.  The crap shoot, the social whirl...the vast flattening out and deriching of the breads of word and leeches along and prays to empty and without substance or soul.

Those with critical eye and learned posture are anachronisms of a corrupted elitist past, one that pruned information and knowledge away from the firm trees of gossip, rumor corrupted story, rigorous thought as mystery and gave it to self styled Brahmans who deigned to know something and see the flaws of banality.
The gate keepers today have no gates.  The wise today have nothing to be wise about, have no  forum or venue that can sell tickets.  The interested have no constituency.  The interesting, the dispassionate are to be hanged as apostates.

Now that everyone has said their thanks and come clean about their purity it is in the best interests of peace, joy and contentment to render unto the ghosts of holidays past their due and to sprout the wings of angels and protect the poor wretched flock from the sinful baying heathen scavengers.

So we have the fight for the soul of the American public.  We have those lacking compassion.  We have those awash with it.  We have those understanding the trials and conflicts of production and those who appreciate not the efforts of innovation, management, survival.  We have those who see the old evils of unbridled laissez - faire capitalism and those who do not.   It is always the old conflicts.  What does capitalism owe to labor....what does labor owe to capitalism?  Is labor an endless pool to be eternally abused as an endless glut on the market?  Is capital an endless evil trying to navigate the bitter fields of production, efficiency, competition, vulnerabilities in markets and systems?

The age old fight between the individual and the collective......the fodder of the collective versus the soul of the individual.  Where today is the the acceptable line drawn?  Do we not factor in the line at all?  Stifle the human spirit and the society is dead.  Stifle the living prospects of the general populace and the society is rancid.  Capital creates capital....that is its purpose......all other grand benefits are off shoots not aims.   Labor creates survival......too much a drag on production and nimbleness can kill the goose....Disrespect for either of the two, the fat cats, the greedy parasites and ugly is the world.

The basic economics of public discourse, public folly, public policy, public ruin demands fidelity and slavishness to those vile laws of supply and demand, those vile laws of create for the suckers what they will be facile, dim enough to embrace and to buy.  What products can stand up against the complete resistance and total ridicule embracing the culturally irrelevant?

The most fun any deviant soul or ribald politico can have is to be able to look into the sainted mirrors of time and beauty and have reflected back the true nature of a libidinous soul ripe for plucking, maiming, debauching, seething.

The pits of eternal damnation echo well the searing flames and shooting fires of the lashing whips of our hardy lords and masters.  But putty, pawns, freak shows and cracked images set in time we, the wretched, are the sacks of pested straw bundled by those who would define us, give us life.  the worlds in the mirror are the wizardry of those who cast best the rancid picture.

Spectacle and narrative, heroes and villains, idiots and dopes game the games, the presentations, the flair, the pomp, the circumstance of the sold realities and tragic heartbreaks.  All vaudevillian magic acts work the joyous suspension of disbelief for and all vaudevillian magic acts play their audiences ripe for boundless energy, happy simplicity and boundless corruption.  They fly high in the world they seek....these happy magicians ours.

Certain talkers and mouthers and candidates of various flavors and stripes and different flavors of cotton candy grandly, majestically kneel royally to bend their messages, bend their truths, bend sacred apparent iconic natures of consistency, logic, belief, reason, credulity.  With the sublime gusto and merciless aims of strident warriors and granite augured figures of legend the fly as standard bearers for slick, trick and quick.

Marvelous spears of masters and the adept know true their aim,their marks, their paths to heaven.  Openings allowed them in their drives for canonization, control, pandering, use, domination, hate, accomplishment and ascendant flair are gifts from heaven and the gads of needy beggars.

There is always ascendance or survival, the playing of the malnourished and non washed, the charges going forward and sights true upon the prize, the ball, the   soft flesh open to rupture, the soft mind open to rapture.

When speaking to audience all of high moral and intellectual caliber it is all important that one speak to the worth of intellectual rigor and not to simple smarmy statements of self congratulatory mocking...... statement always made when in no fear of competent retaliation.

That they have an audience blessed with extreme self confidence and total abject fear of being in any way challenged and that they are the procures who pander to their audience's every weak kneed trembling want and need of a fix and a spiritual high and desire goes without question.

There are those who value well these dependent junkies, the cream of their flock and who value well the drugs of their own choice that they push and disseminate and we have, then, those thrilled who have weave into the lore of their pushers the roll of sainted diet, givers of  quaking chills and uncommon paradise.

The numbers say that 99 percent is more than 1 percent.   The power says that 1 percent is more than 99 percent.  The 99 percent are nicely split between those who think they're getting shafted and those who think their just being stopped from licking the boots of the kings and queens.  Upward mobility means playing the game of the ones who own the store.  Any competent realist knows that.

The sweetly malignant of the 99 percent wish to tear down all that is holy...not unlike the sweetly malignant of the tea's and their ilk.  The little devils want either a rogue malignancy of the left or the right.  The others wish America to be America....definition to be determined by what ever megalomaniac is in the defining mood.

The problem seems to stem from the point of view of the boys and girls on the economic outs.  Do they see a rigged game.  If they see a rigged game do they see it rigged by by those who stop producers from running amok or by those who stop suckers from getting a piece of the systemic and economic action?  It seems as though the powerless should be able to identify the powerful and the suckers should be able to identify the way they are played.  But alas not.  The devils of our hearts have to stay the bad guys until beyond all hope and beyond all reason they can be seen as bearable.  In this climate that is a tough out.  The devils of our hearts are simple beings that need to bear the brunt of our comfort zones and frustrations.  They just will never leave.  The devils of our hearts are that which we see behind every tree and shrub, bush and factors talking sense.

Since all processes around all politics are fixed only when they are not then it is no great surprise that all of our paragons of virtue and sincerity, freedom lovers all, fight mightily for their very own little ends but fight mightily not for the preservation of a legitimate democratic republic.

Politics ain't bean bags and the stakes are always high, the pressures are always great, the threats to law and order always lurking,  and the urge to maximize power a fact of human existence.  That said one should just be happy with those who just don't espouse outright oligarchy or gangsterism...... which is a tough bargain when seeking the heart of hearts of our players and schemers.

There is no there there to incentify a politico to stand for a system that, built in, respects the ideas of rational political markets, free political markets, non fixed or slanted, faked, or baked political markets..... heavenly dear political markets.

Is it so hard to factor in a decent value structure into the vast void and barren landscape that is the place where our intrepid political and cultural warriors live?

The very many heroes and heroines of our songs and stories, our dribble and spew, are simply just strong enough to work the magic of preset opinion, preset formula, preset world view, preset wars to enable them to claim to be the vanquishing soldiers of the sun and the winnowing whips of fury.

It takes strength and character to face the void and go through the intellectually humbling tasks of squeezing every last ounce and angle, false fact and false premise, hateful hook and stereotypical slander out of any bit of business, story, argument, policy mist or vague hint at actual facts.

A public mouth, public angler, private mouth, private angler should be a proud and vivid thing.  All preaching staunchness and the fruits of manly toughness they practice well the bullish arts of might and right, of the big lie and the small derision, the propped up symbolism and the herd mentality.

Strong and viscous, terrifying and vivacious, the agenda setters are the best of the best, the king wrestlers in the swamp of a ring.

They are just not strong enough to build their precisions and their emptiness around well versed, well constructed, fondling of fact based, mincing of honor based, cores of arguments and premises that might require other than a love for and worship of the tired, the dim, the loud and the self rewarding.

Up the heavers.  In weakness of execution they exalt.  They have the current paths to acceptability and power.  Strength is in the willing so of that which is useful and that which is convenient.  Players who respect other avenues or virtues  are the naive waifs and powerless frolics who get sand kicked in their faces at the beach.  tough makes truth.  Wisdom makes tedium.  Intellectual laziness is for those who care.  Th e flag flies high in the winds of the felonious assaults upon invasive questioning.  Lack of certainty is lack of standing.  the weak of analysis are the masters of the universe of the message makers.  "Go maim"....the call of out pristine wild.  The wolf is king.

That there is no such thing as a fine mind that is unable to thrash out the complexities of issues in such a way that there is gleaned an understanding of an opposing point of view and the logical structure and world view upon which it may  rest is undeniable.

That there is no such thing as a fine mind that is shut off so completely from the human experience that it sees only the pittance of the mock trials and emotions which make up the day of the dim is also undeniable.

That there is no such thing as a fine mind that may wallow in the simplicities of fallacy and the inaccuracies of illogical and false premise or unexamined premise is in itself  a tautological statement.

That there is no such thing as a fine mind resting in the breeding grounds of political speech is an issue, a statement upon which few will land.  Intelligence is a valued thing and smarts is what we all are sure of in our own very selves.  We are smart enough to understand the world and its challenges...understand those what are with us and those what are agin' us.  We are savvy enough to see the hell cats at the door and the rats nipping at our heels.

We see the provocateurs, the subversives, the self righteous, the aggrieved, the aggressive, the self important and the rock solid.  We see the whole menagerie of fools.  We see through our grand and gloried prisms the dangled baits of entertainment high and visceral pleasures low so that we can have always some use for the rotten rotten that confronts us.

We see what we need to see and we need to see what we see and smarts don't mean a good g-d damn.  Keep the club.  Waste the thought.  Praise the kickers and seek the bit of the spoils.  Fine minds are the illusions of the soft.  That's all there is.
