money, no income, happy little debts, no home value, no employment, no
fun, no sun, no dreams attainable with aching back and angry bill
collectors .... we are the lucky. We live where the rich live where the
envy of the world habituate and enjoy high standards of life and low
standards of gratitude.
Kings and queens our wretched selves in
the global village of the global world. Happy and true to the dance the
lucky and the rested, we. Unappreciative and dense and full of
narcissistic expectations we. mean streets with median levels of
worldly woe tell us to shut up and sink into the statistical morass.
So
sweat not, vent not, cry not. Overseers of global equity know our
milieu, our fate, our place in life. False notions of sovereign
standards be damned. The global war for strata and data and rank and
privilege is all that there is.
The poor beggar in the rancid slum
of a wretched existence somewhere where the sun shines on all humanity
is a brother in form, content, expectation and use for those who can
use. Paved streets and warm grate upon which to rest ones weary bones
are the luxury of the spoiled and the entitled.
