Good
argument stimulates, opens vistas, breaks down barriers, gains
attention, cancels stupidity. Good argument comes from fine minds
working finely. Good argument is a blessing... a chance to test the
theories and positions of ones heart, hearth and head. Good argument is
for those who give a damn.
Fine minds are for the timid. Fine
minds get blown away by the loud, the bellicose, the self satisfied and
the self righteous. Fine minds are rational, often reasonable, usually
smug. Fine minds never intimidate the ones who know thought to be a
trap and a sham. Fine minds are usually suckers. But they are fine
minds.
